Dwindling Venue of Vultures

Lately I've noticed that the venue of vultures behind my house has dwindled in size quite a lot. I've really started to miss seeing the huge flocks of birds that came to roost on the trees this winter. The peak size of the roost was near 300 birds this winter! So, this morning before work I snapped a couple of photos to get a closer look at the birds that remained. It appears only ONE black vulture is left of the bunch! Two months ago it was hundreds of "blackies" and only a couple of turkey vultures. Now there are about 30 turkey vultures and only one "blackie" left. I will miss them when they go! I hope they come back next year.
