Home mechanics

The washing machine packed in a couple of days ago, so it fell upon me to stay in and wait for the mechanic to show up. The hardest part was actually staying awake, as I've been on nightshift this week. It's not made easier by the fact that the engineer showed up two hours before he was scheduled today. If I hadn't been sleeping in the garden, I'd have missed him.
