send me back to the wild!

on the hunt for Cypriot wildlife

Today my dad and I got up early to try and photograph a lighthouse that we had seen from Cape Greko a couple of nights ago. Unfortunately, this plan fell flat on its face when we found that it was closed off from the public by a high fence. Which did explain why no one had mentioned the lighthouse to me before. Later on,we made up for this by walking a nature trail in Protaras. We found all sorts will we were up there. I've still not seen a chameleon, which I was quite eager to see, but we saw plenty of other reptiles.
