Wednesday 18 April 2012: Ben Lora walk
Forest walk today, parts of the trail were closed due to repairing storm damage - the trees looked like someone had been playing pick-up-sticks with them. But we managed to get to three different viewpoints by circuitous routes. The light was strange, lots of sunshine and clouds, but every view I took came out with the distance too light and the foreground too dark. Connel airport runway was the best of the bunch. It's the strip looking like a road right next to the sea, taken from the flank of Ben Lora above Benderloch, and I guess that's the end of Loch Etive. Sunshine was warm, such a contrast to yesterday, and able to have tea outdoors without jackets :))
