Wednesday 18 April 2012: BCCTV
There was the prospect of a valuable new addition to Wednesday Cycle Club this evening, but sadly I didn't escape the office until nearly six so it ended up as the Solo Cycle Club again.
My now-perfected HandlebarCam came with me though, and recorded a few Lycra-clad men overtaking me and the sound of my lungs collapsing going up the hill.
Typically, it ran out of storage space about five minutes before it would have actually been useful, when I had to intervene in a group of youths harassing the poor lady owner of the Chinese takeaway on Granton Road. I think I managed to convince them they were all on camera anyway, and they chilled out a bit. But not before calling me a 'pee-do' and laughing at my tights.
