It was only when I was editing this I realised I'd already posted a very similar shot of the same tree from the same angle. Ah well, not going out to get something else now.

If anyone else is stuck for a blip though, there's going to be nice bright pass from the International Space Station visible from most of the UK (if the sky's clear). Just watched it go over and, despite it still being near daylight here, it was almost as bright as Venus as it sped by. It's normally good for a bit of long exposure practice so look to the west at 10:15pm tonight if the clouds aren't in the way and it should appear and fly in a low arc towards the south east for around 4 minutes.

There's a ground track plot that should give you a better idea of where to look over here.
