The Caterpillars go marching

The first one stopped
to take a dive...

Ok enough of that already:) It was so interesting watching these Tent Caterpillars march down the tree in a very orderly fashion and one by one, they dove into a little opening in their tent. I wish I had kept count because I was amazed at how many made their way back home and how many can fit in there.

I found them while walking around the conservation area. I did take off my macro and put on my zoom lens. Got a couple pictures of geese flying and a little red squirrel...but I just can't resist the little world my macro lens reveals.

Take a look in large, you'll see the fifth one is in the tent.
