Purple soup!

Tonight I cooked carrot soup, but this time with yellow and purple carrots. The pigment in the purple ones however, is so strong the soup became very dark purple. Soup was served with chopped spring onions and Turkish flat bread.

My girls initially were a bit hesitant, but they each emptied their bowls and then asked for a raw yellow and purple one to eat those as well!
