Royal Observatory Edinburgh

What a dull, cold day it is....................
Popped up to the ROE on my way home from work to take some photos of its lovely buildings that are one of Edinburgh's landmarks. The observatory is on Blackford Hill and was built in 1896. This photo is of the copper dome on the east tower, and was beautifully refurbished in 2010.
