Vivid Tree, Revisited: Spring Greens

Two months ago, I shot this same tree, using the vivid setting on my Canon, which increases the color saturation and turns everyday colors into eye-candy.

I shot the tree again on Wednesday morning, once again using vivid mode. This time, the green of the grass is a dominant shade, rather than the blue of sky.

To the right of the tree there is a picnic table, on which lie a couple of fishing poles and a tackle box. Someone, it seems, has been fishing in this creek. (Or crick, as some of us like to say around here.)

And even further to the right, a small herd of quiet cows - that's their lovely barn in the upper left corner of the shot - is munching on that outstandingly green, flavorful grass.

Perhaps one of those cows is even contemplating trying to offer me some photographic advice, as our local cows seem wont to do . . .
