An Interesting Discussion

...A Big Discussion

..is obviously going on here but I was more provoked into discussion with this article on the future of photography. It is an angry rant that seems to hit home for anyone who has considered making money out of photography. I have far too many thoughts on the subject to start here but it does come down to this; if people will pay more for something than it cost you, you've got the makings of a business. How you get there, where you go from there and what motivates people to keep buying, are questions for any business. Photographers are not alone in facing new, changing markets with unknown quantities around every corner.

Who knows? It could all come down to how you look at the world.
