Thursday 19 April 2012: Another Preschool
Continuing with our decision to work with women's Cluster Groups, we visited another area in Doroba, having got a request to assist the community in the development of Preschool education.
The group in the pic has the village Chief and his assistant, the school committee, the students with Mary, Casca, Harisen, and two journalists from Ireland.
They have a committee, a school garden to grow food for the students, one teacher and they have made a start (a prerequisite)
We had a great discussion and it looks like we can work very well together.
First meeting/training begins Tuesday next at 12 o'clock.
We visit two more areas tomorrow and will speak with 7 areas in total at this time, bringing our total number of supported preschools to over 14, if all goes ahead and agreements are reached.
It's huge progress for a small organisation like ours.
In tandem with this we looked at new pump locations and broken pumps.
