Here's the pond I've been working on. I've made a really daft mistake: I forgot to check the ground was flat before I started digging and now the water is nearly at the top in the foreground, but several inches down at the back. I think I can correct this by lifting the turf edging and cutting a bit lower at the back.

I'm quite pleased with the little island in the middle, though. Hope the water plants survive. I'm also hoping it's not too late for tadpoles and must remember to contact Flumgummery about this.
