Thursday 19 April 2012: Birthday season

Hmm. I've laid down the law on birthday season. Initially it didn't go well and much shouting ensued. Wee girls change friends like they change outfits. This weeks BFF is last week's passing acquaintance and next weeks BFF is this week's mortal enemy.

It has to stop. No party. No extravaganza- just the perennial BFF and the most favourite of cousins and me and MeesterM. initially she wasn't happy but frankly the guest list was getting out of hand and it changed every day- time to set boundaries. I relented on one aspect- the funfair. To seal the deal I will go on the loop the loop rollercoaster. Man I hate the funfair- but my discomfort was enough to appease her.

Anything for a quiet life.

Thank goodness she's asleep. Ten more minutes and who knows what I'd have agreed to.
