Thursday 19 April 2012: Hampshire evening
A quick snap from the roadside on the way back from work, on the way to the camera club. This is another in the Chilbolton Down area - some lovely rolling landscape. I tried to push the B&W effect, but it didn't come out looking quite how I wanted. Lot's to learn from John up in the Lakes in September on B&W!
Camera club this evening was... interesting. In the British way of saying interesting that is. The first half was more like a set of poor holiday snaps (there may have been 4-5 that I'd have been willing to show anyone else), with a Count Arthur Strong style commentary. Things improved in the 2nd half with much better pictures (some stunning ones from Antarctica and Greenland), but the commentary was still rambling. Oh well...
Maps arrived for my May holiday. Lots of contour lines which always means good walking and photography to me. Any recommendations of good walking and photography on Skye, Harris/Lewis and Glencoe/Rannoch Moor? All suggestions gratefully received.
