Thursday 19 April 2012: Suzanne

This is my dear friend (and adopted little sister ;o)) , Sue. We've been best friends for as long as we can remember, and we're pretty sure even before that. Two or three times a year we take off on an adventure, always someplace where we can enjoy the outdoors and as many critters as possible. We both have a need for large bodies of water...so we usually end up on a shore.

Today, we were at the western edge of Lake Erie, and we walked along the rocky shore line, admiring the pairs of swallows in their nest boxes, the jumping fish, and the windmills on the Canadian shore opposite us.

These swallows were warning us not to walk so fast. Here's the trail we hiked and the restaurant where we had a fantastic lunch!!
