Friday 20 April 2012: Buds and Blossom
OK, I know - it's flowers again but it's outside today as the relentless rain of yesterday has been replaced by weak sunshine.
Hard to believe that this almost white blossom can come from those deep pink buds - after that ........ apples!!!!!
The petals look kind of "withered" but they are all like that so am guessing it's an apple blossom thing!
The cherry blossom has already started to fall, the pear blossom is past its best but a lot of the apple blossom hasn't even "budded" yet (there are hardly any on the cooking apple tree).
Thank you to everyone who helped 'Miss Juliet' onto the spotlight page yesterday - she is thrilled (as am I)
