Friday 20 April 2012: Transporter Bridge..
details here. She is 100 years old and still in use - except in high winds and when maintenance work is on-going. Said maintenance has been in progress for weeks. Family legend has it that one of my relatives designed and built the bridge - no doubt single-handed - the fairy tales some families concoct! It's another grey day but not raining yet and it is a touch warmer. It's also Friday and the weekend again - enjoy.
