Friday 20 April 2012: Bluebells in Jubilee Woods
I waited until after the horrendous hailstorm before I went down to see how the bluebells are going on in Jubilee Woods.
huge hailstones
I was extremely lucky and managed to avoid the next showers. It was a bit slippery underfoot as you go into the first part of the wood which is at the back of the Pipe Hall Farm woodland run by the Woodland Trust.
But it was well worth venturing out. The bluebells at the bottom of the hill are well out and the ones on the way down are promising a good show in a week or two.
More shots from this morning (some from my garden)
