Friday 20 April 2012: Fading Fast
It was 102 yesterday and projected 99 today, and the flowers are really suffering.We golfed yesterday and were surprisingly comfortable, looked for shade wherever we could find it, and buzzed around the course in about three hours! (Nobody wants to play in that heat). I had to get one last poppy shot and this one I especially loved because of its fluffiness in the middle and all the purple flowers in the background! You can see it's got some heat damage but still pretty!
