Saturday 21 April 2012: A Mantis Moment.

A day of gardening and then a reward of insect photography .... it wont be long until all the insects take cover for winter and I really wont to get the hang of this. This guy or girl was happy just to stare at me as I shoved the camera in its face.
There must be a knack to getting it really sharp ... do you go in really close or do you stay back ?
