Thursday 19 April 2012: Powerful Army (110/366)

I was up a nearby hill, taking Father in Law's dog for a walk. Yes, he's still with us.

I was struck by how War of the Worlds these electricity pylons looked. Like giant aliens striding across the landscape. Something to do with the atmospherics at the time I guess.

I'm pretty sure these particular pylons are actually carrying power away from us as we stand shooting. They're probably routed from Cockenzie power station, about 10 miles behind me, and due for closure as it literally burns out its carbon credits.
