Saturday 21 April 2012: Lazy Fungi blip
Lazy because I didn't have to go farther than my back door for this blip. I have an old coir mat which has been hanging over the fence on the steps up to the back garden. With all the rain we have had, it is growing moss and today I noticed these little fungi. I think my neighbour thought I was crazy because I was leaning over the fence to get the shot camera in one hand flash in the other (I later worked out I could actually move the mat and it would be a lot easier - quick aren't I?) The cups were about the size of my little finger nail. I wonder how much bigger they will get - if at all.
