Saturday 21 April 2012: Chainmail
On the way back from Rob's football this morning (a 6-2 win) we called into the Castle Grounds were they were holding celebrations to mark St George's Day on Monday. There were falconry displays, people demonstrating medieval crafts and even a jousting tournament! I would like to have stayed longer and taken more photos but time was against us today.
This blip shows a man making chainmail......I spared you the photo of the lady disemboweling a pigeon......
Looking forward to catching up later with Gav's sister, her hubby and my nephew who are up from Surrey for a short visit!
