Saturday 21 April 2012: Hazel Grouse

Today was good bird day. Saw lots of interesting species including grane (kurki), black grouse (teeri), bean goose (metsähanhi), eurasian curlew (kuovi), northern grey shrike (isolepinkäinen) and sparrowhawk (varpushaukka). These two hazel grouses were in the middle of the road doing what ever they do and didn't first mind me at all. After the first hasty frames I started to think the camera settings but they decided to move in the safe of the woods before I managed to get faster shutter speed to prevent the blur. So this has to do. My first pictures of hazel grouse anyways.
