Saturday 21 April 2012: Nose Scratching

time to scratch a nose
This miniature pony in Tong Park was perhaps after more than a nose scratch, but that's all it got. At least it was awake, unlike Shadow Horse, another of the Tong park horses that I blipped in December.
It featured on a circuitous route to pick up 7yo from gym club, which also enabled me to get a rather tenuous "steam" photograph for today's Bradford Photo a Day Challenge. Tong Park Mill is reputedly the site of Yorkshire's first steam-powered mill (Gill Mill, steam engine installed 1790), although what's there today is a twentieth century structure.
