St Peter's Geneva

Was a bit of a tourist today and went round the old city in Geneva which is very quaint and beautufl in the way that old European cities are (although they often remind me of scenes in Chitty Chityy Bang Bang where the child stealer catches his victims).

Here is a view of the roof of St Pierre's Cathedral in the heart of the old city.

The church dates from the 12 century but has become associated with John Calvin and the reformation, which happened over 200 years later. Not really too sure what to make of Ioannes Calvinus especially his treatment of Servetus.

Nevertheless, the tastiest beer i have had so far is one Calvinus Blanche, named after the great reformer.
