Saturday 21 April 2012: Harbor Seal
Took a walk around the bay to check on the Canada geese and their nest perched high up on a rock. (see thurs. blip) Saw at least 5 eggs peeking out from under Mom, but no goslings.....yet. Nearby, this harbor seal was noticing us up above - so I think the calm water, the rock (you can see starfish underneath...)and this handsome seal steal the blip for today - but I'll check back with the geese.
Overcast, but a nice day, with a good row in the alden this morning.... More windows washed.... the goldfinch arrived at my feeders today!
