Povera Alitalia!!!

Poor Alitalia!!!

I don't know if abroad you are following our main national airline sad events!
It is since months and months that the financial situation of Alitalia is really bad, with serious danger of bankrupt ...and since months we keep hearing of a long series of proposal from foreign airlines, groups of italian investors...and so on...and anyway every proposal has as main action, to cut costs, wages and reduce the people working for the airline in different sectors!
Every proposal so far hasn't been agreed by one side or another...unions, government etc etc!
...and the story is still going on...the bankrupt risk is closer and closer...but we all hope an agreement will be soon signed....so far it seems the only part not accepting the last proposal are the pilots (which they risk to see their wage reduced of 30% it seems!)....anyway if you are interested here some news english i found! :)

So, thinking of all these events ...it felt really strange to pass by this old sign, in Venice, near St. Mark Square!....and "old" mosaics on the ground, that was indicating the old main offices of Alitalia in Venice...when in the "golden age" the airline had an office in town and many people was working there!....how slowly but relentlessly things have changed!
