Saturday 21 April 2012: At the top of the hill
A really enjoyable day with friends, wondering around the countryside overlooking the river Severn. Loads to choose from today; landscapes over the Severn valley, a church missing the main body, a wild mouse which scampered over my foot and a glorious sunset.
Despite such a wide choice, my love of black and white won out in the end. I really like the simplicity of the two people in silhouette standing out against the strong clouds.
Unfortunately the telescope photos ended up not working. Something to do with the mirrors being not fully aligned, so it wouldn't focus correctly. Maybe next time ...
