Sunday 22 April 2012: Time and tide
They have to be aware of both. There was a good haul from the sea today and this ritual occurs every day at the turning of the tide. It has been happening for centuries and keeps the beach looking pristine when they have finished. The ominous clouds were gathering again. We got back to the car just in time as the showers began.
