Bird of Paradise

Well, I wasn't playing golf in Paradise today.
Unless, of course, you consider Paradise to be,
A cloudless sky.
A high-strung sun beating down,
Creating a humidity free 98 degrees
And, this at 8:30 AM

What?
A dry heat you say?
Yea, right.
Ever spent 4 hours in your oven?
Then you know what I'm talking about.


YESTERDAYS TITLE
Comes from one of my students.
The little cutie would periodically bip into class and declare
it's "A Great Day to Be Me"

Thanks to all of you.
It was a great day for me.
Little yellow bird and I basked in the glow of spotlight.
Not 98 degree glow, mind you.
It felt so good.
We've both been sitting on our perches singing.
(maybe ignore that visual of me)
