Autumn leaves

Love the richness of colour in the autumn leaves, they seem to be particularly good this year. Maybe because the summer was cooler and damper and they haven't been frizzled.

Had our 13th inspection visit since February 2011's earthquake, he spent three hours here, told us nothing and left. Leaving us as usual feeling slightly violated - nice guy, only doing his job, but having a stranger poking through your home is always upsetting I find. And the worst part is it's all meaningless, we won't hear anything from them, it will just disappear down the black hole.
