Monday 23 April 2012: Proof...
...that the rain has stopped, if only for a little while. The challenge theme really didn't inspire me today, so you get a shot (which is better large) of a little moorhen on nearby, blip-mapped, Middleton Lakes. I love the map thing - it pleases me, but I've absolutely no idea why!
A strange day so far. I was uncharacteristically cheerful, given a real boost by having my freedom back, when someone said something incredibly tactless and hurtful. Someone who thinks she's being funny, when she's just horribly insensitive. I swiftly ended that phone call, and have been raging mad all morning. I won't say more - you never know who's reading. I'm pretty good at cutting people out if they cause me any grief though.

Scenery like this chills me out (as does thumping away at the computer keyboard!) Can't beat a quiet ten minutes with nothing but your camera for company. Works EVERY time. Now for a quick sandwich and a cup of tea, and I'm going to mow the lawns before it rains again...
Tomorrow - Something you're grateful for. After today, I'm tempted to blip Caller I.D. See, I can NEARLY laugh about it now.
