This is my emergency piglet!
I think he's a Gloucester Old Spot.
When I can't think of anything to photograph here up north (which is most of the time to be honest) I pop down to Horse shoe Farm in Alderley Edge to photograph the animals. If Mrs Beckham were to visit a farm shop it'd be here.
I can't see her soiling her Christian Louboutin's on the chicken droppings mind you!
I think it's a particularly northern thing to be quite cool about seeing your meat wandering around a farm yard before popping into the shop to buy a gammon steak or two.
If you aren't comfortable about the thought of eating this little fellow (a few months down the line, grant you), don't eat pork!
