Monday 23 April 2012: First-ish Class
I'm seriously considering giving up my desk at Blipcentral and doing all my work from a first class East Coast train carriage instead. Nobody disturbs you, there's free wi-fi, snacks, sandwiches, and as much tea, coffee and beer as you can drink. And if you book early enough in advance, it's almost certainly cheaper by the hour than renting an office.
Sadly standards drop with the prices, as demonstrated by the crumbs waiting on my seat when I got to it and the bloke who got on in Newcastle with a Greggs bag full of goodies, which he munched on all the way to Darlington.
I guess you can't have it all.
