Monday 23 April 2012: Impersonating a Blippers Style

So, whose bright idea was it to do a couple of hours work & then sort out my blip at 10pm! Not good!

I went to Alvecote Priory today whilst the kids were at Streetdance. I've been here before, and this is where I was hoping to impersonate a blippers style.

Well, I had a great 45 minutes there. I tried to impersonate a lot of you.
I took photos of daisies, feathers, cow parsley, macro flowers & branches, horses and ruins. Can you guess the people these shots could have been impersonating?

I decided on this photo. The person I was trying to impersonate is someone I've recently come across & I love their photos. Here is my favourite of theirs.

I couldn't resist putting a couple in my Blipfolio for Mischa. I may edit some of the other shots& put them in my Blipfolio over the next few days - I'll let you know.

Apologises for all of the links, but I think you'll agree, Graham & Mischa's blips are definitely worth a look!

In other news - Poppy (who I have helped raise money for with the Zumbathon & the Ball recently) went into Birmingham Children's Hospital today for an operation to remove the brain tumor she has been living with for 8 years of her short 9 year life.
Here is the message her mum left on Facebook today after the operation:

They only bloody got it all!!!!!!! Poppy tired & groggy, but she can move & see, didn't need blood transfusion, just needs to rest & recover now xxx and Desi (her Dr) showed her some tumour, smacked it & told her it was naughty xxxx thank you all xxxx your prayers worked xxxxxxx

I have been brimming with tears ever since seeing this! :) :) :) xxxx
