Tuesday 24 April 2012: Earthshine

This evening I noticed a lovely crescent Moon in a beautiful clear sky - so I dragged out my tripod, and changed the lens on my Lumix. First I did a couple of fast exposures to capture the detail on the Moon, but they weren't really good as photos - with just a tiny crescent in black. So I went with a longer exposure, blown out as it is, to get the trees, and especially the earthshine.
