A day of 'jobs'. The frame for the permanent chicken run's concrete base is done, and a big clear-out of stuff to throw out, sell and donate to charity has been begun. the poor car ended up laden with 6 bags of sand and 2 big wood chippings packs from the garden centre, so everyone has really been at it.

Including the chickens working on the computer...

Actually, tell a lie. The cat has slept. And eaten a bit. And slept a bit more.

Only just realised the Cycle Speedway boys were riding today at Redbraes. I've only made it along to watch once so far, after I gave up riding it following a very short career that culminated in a shattered elbow a couple of years ago.

To round off the afternoon we've just tried a couple of little bits of the Dorset Naga chilies that had been growing in the greenhouse. Wow that's hot! The laksa later in the week is going to be a bit more fiery...
