Inundated

Rain is beating on the roof gently. I can hear it on the skylight. Not hard rain. A soft Northwest rain. But constant. So I decided to see if I could find a dandelion seed head full of beautiful tiny drops. Not happening. Instead the constant rain has flooded them. Most look kind of like bedraggled wet dogs with their seeds drooping under large drops of water. This one was the closest I could find to what I had in mind. I do like the flooded seed heads and the few seed fluffs that seem to have escaped. This was under a lip of rock and that is how it escaped the drowned puppy look. Take a look at the large version to see all the wet in the middle.
