Tuesday 24 April 2012: Boating on the Solent
A work social this evening; one chap leaving the company, and one other heading back to India after being over here for the last 2 years.
A few drinks and some food at The Still and West in old Portsmouth. I'd never been before, but it has some great views out over the entrance to Portsmouth Harbour. Watching the ferries come in and out is quite fun, though seeing the military looking UK Border Agency boat was quite impressive.
For a busy harbour it was really nice to see that there are still a lot of small sailing boats around. These ones were having fun just outside the harbour entrance.
