Wednesday 25 April 2012: Scary Pumpkin

Today we ventured to the Little River Country Bumpkin Giant Pumpkin Festival to support the Little River School. It is held every ANZAC day.The Memorial Gates were adorned with poppies and wreaths in rememberance and it was great to see adults and children alike with their poppies on.
The weather was beautiful.
The pumpkin I chose and made by a young student at little river school, symbolises how totally gruesome war is.
It would seem we have learn't very little - far too many people die at the hands of a gun and man's greed and need for power.
