Wednesday 25 April 2012: A bridge, abridged

I always enjoy like it when you notice something you must've passed hundreds of times.

This memorial in East Linton is dedicated to local boy John Rennie (1761 - 1821) a civil engineer.

I liked the fact that the thing that looks like a bird bath is actually a baluster from his Waterloo Bridge in London.
