Tuesday 24 April 2012: Commuting ain't so bad
when the weather is this good in the evening.
And boy was I glad for a nice walk home - still yawning as a result of the grapes and grains last night, not helped by the Thomson's pie and pint with some chums at lunch. Not to say the pie and pint wasn't good (or welcome), just that I think there was definitely a slow start to the afternoon because of it (pie for sleepiness, pint for extended fuzziness).
A stuff dose of caffeine from Peter's Yard on the way home certainly gave me the jolt I was needing.
Off to bed early now, bright start for the red-eye tomorrow.
