Thursday 26 April 2012: Canada Geese Babies Visit
It's one of those spring days when we are getting every kind of weather imaginable, and it's COLD. When I looked out the back to the pond today, there were a group of Canada Geese ducklings swimming with their parents. Then when I approached they quickly got out and waddled off...this photo was taken along that route. I just love how they are so small and fuzzy and how you can just see the beginning of their wings!
Besides the cold and rain, I've woken up with a sore throat and I'm not feeling too good...I had been fighting this for days after seeing my granddaughter's last week, but it has gotten the best of me:) I was planning on getting together with the NW Blippers in downtown Portland this afternoon, but I'm thinking that no one needs to catch this from me...and as much as I want to go, I just don't feel very good. Sanity here is winning out:) Better to drink hot tea and hang close to home!! Hope you all have fun, and I'll be there in spirit!!
