The Knightwood Oak

The Knightwood Oak is considered to be the oldest Oak in the New Forest. It's certainly the biggest. In Victorian times it was known as 'the queen of the forest'. It's surrounded by a number of other interesting oak saplings - the Queen's Oak, the Edinburgh Oak, the Millennium Oak and the... park superintendents Oak (close enough for a blip I guess).

It's something I've nearly visited on a number of occasions, and I was planning object using ire for my fiftieth blip - I just forgot I was in London that day.

So here it is in all its resplendent glory.
