Leamington Lift Bridge

It's pretty exciting cycling past the Leamington Lift Bridge-that's rather a sad thing to say but I'm a great fan! It is a vertical lift bridge sited at the end of The Edinburgh Union Canal just as you enter the Lochrin Basin. It was built in 1906, and was refurbished as part of the Millenium Canal project, having fallen into a derelict state in the 1950's.
