Sunset on Siesta Key

This morning we moved down the coast a little way, to spend the rest of the week on Siesta Key, just south of Sarasota. We arrived at our accommodation a little after noon, and our room wasn't quite ready yet, so we went across the road to a pizza place and had a salad outside in the sun, while we waited. In the same row of businesses we found a French restaurant and a Peruvian/American restaurant which looked quite nice, so we decided that was dinner settled for the next two nights! By the time we'd had our lunch, our room was ready, so we unpacked, then headed to the beach for the afternoon. I had to go for my sunset walk on the beach alone, as Roger was resting his sprained ankle. In the evening we enjoyed a great dinner at the French restaurant we had picked out earlier in the day.
