Saturday 28 April 2012: Trainspotting

I confess I have been trainspotting today. Not with Ewan McGregor unfortunately but the sort where there is a lot of men around with timetables and cameras. In fact, at a lot of vantage points around the place you would be sure to see a group of people with tripods and cameras.

This beauty was heading back to Maitland. There was a modern train running parallel to it on the trip from Maitland to Newcastle and return.

I am really excited because I have a ticket for the Great Train race tomorrow. Thanks Debbie and Stephen. Forecast is for rain - hmmmmm.
