Tuesday 24 April 2012: Brief rain-free blip
Managed a short walk at lunchtime armed with son's camera. Still have to work out how the focus works - it seems to focus on anything but the object in the middle of the viewfinder.
Took me a few goes to get this wasp somewhere near in focus. This laurel blossom was very powerful and had attracted bees and wasps. The whole plant was alive with buzzy insects.
Book group this evening. Only three of us had made it to the end of 'Mill on the Floss' which made discussions tricky. Luckily we had copious amount of wine, nibbles and gossip to keep us going.
